In early 2016, ScaleHub founders — all of whom bring to the table extensive experience with data automation, business process management and crowdsourcing technologies— teamed up to rethink and revolutionize traditional data extraction and document processing.

We focus on helping shared service centers (SSCs) and business process outsourcers (BPOs) scale their business by tapping into a virtual workforce and our managed data processing services. Our ScaleHub portal is a crowdsourcing platform that takes traditional data extraction to the cloud and provides access to both public and private crowd communities globally.

    Olaf Malchow CEO

    Olaf Malchow leads with more than 35 years of experience in the IT industry. His broad expertise stems from previous roles as chairman, general manager, finance director and managing director. He has managed teams, projects and served in a variety of leadership positions for global companies.

    Dan Dubiner CTO

    Dan Dubiner is an industry expert in crowdsourcing. A technology master, he brings to the senior management team a wealth of experience designing, developing and deploying business technology systems proven to help companies in a number of sectors, such as financial services. Dan has led technical departments for global companies and pioneered services innovation for the BPO community.

    Ralf Goebel COO

    Ralf Göbel brings to ScaleHub senior management nearly 20 years of dedication to product development and document process automation solution implementations. Previous roles include CTO and VP, as well as product development and management experience with the Xbound platform and components. At ScaleHub, he is responsible for business development, product management and operations.

    Torsten Malchow has over 20 years of international sales experience targeting Global Enterprises, BPOs & SSCs in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Previous roles include Global SVP and CSO within the Process Automation world – managing large Sales and Pre Sales organizations while always achieving or exceeding Sales quotas.

    Kay Bommer Chairman of the Supervisory Board

    Kay Bommer is a lawyer and business consultant. He heads his own law firm and is managing director of DIRK, the German Investor Relations Association. Kay sits on a number of supervisory boards for small innovative companies, including ScaleHub, and he teaches assignments in Capital Market Law and Corporate Communications at German Universities.

Funded by the European Union

Our project “Segmentation of visual media (computer vision) for cloud-based processing” is financed with funds from the EU’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the federal state of Brandenburg.

Behind this project is the research, development and commercial utilization of new methods and processes that combine human and artificial intelligence (AI) for scalable and high-quality segmentation of visual media for cloud-based processing.

A future-oriented software solution, which would not have been possible without the generous support of Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH, Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg, and the European Union, as part of the ProFit Brandenburg program, aimed at fostering research, innovation, and technology.

Our new computer vision solution will help industries like healthcare, retail, robotics, self-driving cars and autonomous flying, label high-quality data assets to train machine learning algorithms, thus sustainably aiding the process of overall AI deployment.
